Why automatic blinds?
Idea / A storyI once went to a trade fair to ask about electric blinds that could be programmed to open in the morning and close in the evening. The people selling blinds didn't quite understand why I wanted them. Couldn't I just raise and lower the blinds myself?
Of course I could. But why should I, if it could be automated?
I'm often interested in making something repetitive happen by itself. Not because doing it by hand is particularly difficult, but because building the solution is interesting.
